Job summary

Unlimited Instruction, LLC is seeking teachers in the Norfolk, VA area to lead students in a K-12 Gen Ed and SPED pathway program on a temporary assignment.

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any field are eligible to participate in the pathway program and work toward a provisional SPED license for the 2026-27 school year and beyond, with supportive supervision and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university or institution.
• Foundations of special education course or willingness to take the course as a term of employment.
• Will work toward obtaining a provisional Special Education License from the state of Virginia.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers, administrators, support staff and parents.
• Continuously assess and monitor student achievement and maintain documentation for reporting purposes.
• Design and implement appropriate instructional strategies and activities.
• Manage student behaviors to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Coordinate instructional activities with other professionals to maximize learning opportunities.
• Communicate instructional expectations and student progress to students and parents.
