Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a High School Diploma (or GED).
• Completion of an additional 70 hours of professional development to obtain the General Para-educator Certificate.
• First Aid & CPR training is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and assist with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist Behavior Program students in one-to-one, small group, and integrated settings.
• Assist teachers in preparing and delivering materials for individual learning needs.
• Supervise students and enforce area rules to maintain a safe environment.
• Support students with transitions, mobility, and communication needs.
