Qualifications

• 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours with GPA 2.0+ from GCPS-approved college.
• Valid paraprofessional certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with physical and personal care needs per IEP.
• Provide small group or one-on-one instruction per lesson plans.
• Support classroom management and behavior for an effective learning environment.
• Assist with assessment of student performance and data collection.
• Develop and organize instructional materials for use in instruction.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records per FERPA and district policy.
• Participate in required training and ongoing professional learning.
