Job summary

Kingman Middle School in Kingman, Arizona is seeking a Paraeducator IV/V to support a special education classroom under a certified teacher, providing one‑on‑one or small-group assistance to a student.

Position is part-time, 9-month, 32 hours per week, eight hours per day, Monday through Thursday, during core hours, and eligible for medical benefits. Requires High School Diploma or AA with ParaPro option; First Aid/CPR and CPI training may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AA degree, 60 college credits from an accredited university, or satisfactory results on an Arizona state‑approved competency exam (ParaPro).
• May require First Aid/CPR certification and/or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training.

Responsibilities

• Instructing individuals or small groups to reinforce material introduced by the teacher.
• Assisting with assessments, grading papers and completing records under supervision.
• Maintaining confidentiality of student and staff information.
• One‑on‑one assistance to a student and occasional daily care support as needed.
