Job summary

Kingman Unified School District #20 is seeking a Paraeducator IV/V for SPED at Black Mountain School in Golden Valley, AZ. This part-time, 9-month position supports students with special education needs under a certified teacher’s supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• AA degree, 60 college credits from an accredited university, or satisfactory results on an Arizona state-approved competency exam (ParaPro).
• Preferred experience working with students or children.
• May require First Aid/CPR certification and/or CPI Training.

Responsibilities

• Engage in general classroom support or one-on-one assistance under the supervision of a certified teacher.
• Assist with instructional activities and supervise students during routines, drills, and field trips.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
• Assist with assessments, grading, and record-keeping under supervision.
