Washoe County School District is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator Assistant at Dunn Elementary School. The role supports teachers through instructional assistance, data collection, and material preparation within SPED programs.

Requires 48 college credits or higher and passing ParaPathways/ParaPro assessments as applicable. Position is part-time (27.5 hours per week, 182 days) with benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 48 semester hours or higher degree.
• ParaPathways reading/writing score of 332+ and math 334+ or ParaPro score 455+.

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching staff with a variety of classroom and related duties.
• Develop and maintain instructional materials and lesson outlines.
• Observe and report student progress to classroom teacher and families.
• Prepare classrooms and teaching aids; operate standard office equipment.
