Job summary

The Washoe County School District is seeking a Paraeducator Assistant 3 for Dodson Elementary School. Under supervision, you will assist in special education classrooms, supporting individual and group instruction and preparing instructional materials.

The role requires HQ status, a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of college credits or an associate degree (or higher), or a ParaPro score of at least 460. The position is 27 hours per week at Dodson ES.

Qualifications

• HQ status required for the assignment, as defined in the HQ program.
• Completion of 48 college credits or an associate degree or higher.
• Passing the ParaPro Assessment with a score of at least 460.

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching staff with individual and group instruction.
• Develop and maintain instructional records and materials.
• Prepare lesson outlines, plans, and teaching aids; support classroom activities.
