The Home for Little Wanderers' Walpole program seeks a Licensed SPED Teacher (Mathematics) for their Massachusetts Chapter 766 Special Education School, Clifford Academy. Clifford Academy provides a year-round engaging and comprehensive program focused on education, career development, recreation/fitness, and an individualized therapeutic approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics required.
• Master's in Education or related field preferred.
• Massachusetts Educator Licensure required.
• Special Education license desired.
• Experience with educational planning and program support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing individualized education programs.
• Develop curriculum and lesson plans aligned with guidelines.
• Provide individualized academic instruction to diverse students.
• Implement behavioral management within the classroom.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support treatment and education goals.
• Maintain a safe, orderly classroom environment.
• Engage families in the student's educational program.
