Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Texas certificate in appropriate area; ESL certification required.
• Ability to work effectively between the school and community.
• CPI certification once employed.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individual education programs for Life Skills students.
• Prepare ARD/IEP documents and attend meetings.
• Complete local, state and federal paperwork for program participation.
• Coordinate with OT/PT/VI/AT to educate eligible students.
• Maintain student data records and progress charts.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding progress.
