Qualifications

• Positive and productive communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of ARD/IEP goal setting and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Guide the learning of students toward district curriculum goals.
• Create lesson plans aligning teaching and resources to the district curriculum.
• Present material according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and use results to adjust instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers to modify curricula for special education and related needs.
• Assume responsibility for extracurricular activities and sponsor approved activities.
• Use technology as appropriate teaching and learning tools.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate with families.
