Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with staff and administrators.
• CPI/restraint, First aid and CPR training completed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Instructs students under the direction of the supervising teacher.
• Assists the teacher with planned activities and instructional programs.
• Prepare instructional materials and operate audiovisual equipment.
• Assist in maintaining student records.
• Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, lunch, and playground.
• Presents subject matter to students under teacher supervision.
• Assist students with lesson assignments and self-care activities.
