Qualifications

• SKILLS are required to perform multiple tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.
• KNOWLEDGE basic math, read manuals, write documents, follow complex instructions.
• ABILITY schedule activities, gather data, use basic equipment, communicate with diverse groups, maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assists in supervising and supporting special needs students in general or self-contained classrooms.
• Assists with implementing IEP objectives and instructional plans.
• Provides safety, basic first aid and daily care support as needed.
• Maintains records and documents related to classroom activities and student progress.
• Participates in meetings and communicates with staff and parents as required.
