Responsibilities

• Instructs students under the direction of the supervising teacher.
• Assists the teacher with planned activities and instructional programs.
• Assists in preparing instructional materials for daily instruction; set up and operates audiovisual equipment; copy machines and computers.
• Maintains individual student records under teacher supervision.
• Supervises students at arrival/dismissal, in classroom, lunchroom and playground under district staff supervision.
• Presents subject matter to students using varied methods under teacher supervision.
• Assists students with lessons aligned to individualized education programs.
