Job summary

Spectrum Schools in Buena Park, CA seeks an Instructional Aide to support students K-12 within a caring, student-centered program. You will assist with IEP implementation, adapt instruction, and collaborate with teachers to reinforce learning and positive behaviors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic skills testing.
• Associate degree or higher in education or related field preferred.
• Valid CA driver's license preferred and crisis management training capability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to support a welcoming, high-achieving learning environment.
• Implement individualized instruction and behavioral interventions.
• Instruct and monitor students during lessons, applying targeted strategies.
• Track progress and communicate with teachers about student successes and needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and document behaviors and performance.
• Prepare behavioral reports, daily logs, and other required documentation.
• Proactively communicate with students, families, and staff about needs and achievements.
