• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of two years post-secondary education (48 credits) or an associate degree.
• Eligibility for Wisconsin DPI Special Education Educational Assistant license.
• CPR/First Aid certification provided by the District.
• Pro-Act Certification provided by the District.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students with IEPs under supervision.
• Assist with classroom activities, small group, and one-on-one support.
• Implement teacher plans, manage materials, and perform clerical tasks.
• Supervise students in classroom, lunchroom, playground, and arrivals/dismissals.
• Provide support during testing and during specialized services.
• Communicate with teachers, staff, and parents while maintaining confidentiality.
• Attend meetings and participate in professional development.
