Anticipated Start Date: September 21, 2026

Anticipated Hours: 8 am - 3:30 pm

Anticipated Pay Rate: The beginning rate for the special education assignment is as follows:

• Without DPI License $18.51
• With DPI Special Ed Program Aide License $19.73 (individuals in this category will be required to obtain a special education certification and may apply for reimburse of the license fee of $110 after completing 90 days of employment)
• With DPI Teacher or Specialty License/Certification $21.87

The Wauwatosa School District (WSD) is seeking candidates interested in serving as a Special Education Assistant at Eisenhower Elementary School. Eisenhower Elementary School serves approximately 336 students.

The Special Education Assistant works with students under the supervision of certified teachers to support and services students with intellectual disabilities throughout the school day. Duties include providing academic instruction, behavioral supports, supervision, daily living and delegated nursing tasks to students with disabilities.
