Responsibilities include curriculum design, progress monitoring, and collaboration with school leadership to meet graduation and enrollment goals. Strong communication and data-driven decision making are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and SC Teaching Certification in SPED.
• Proficient in MS Office and student information systems used for IEP/504 management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a SPED team and coordinate services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate the SPED team in planning effective learning experiences for students with disabilities.
• Design curricula and assessments aligned to SC Academic Standards and measure progress toward mastery.
• Lead case conference committee meetings to develop measurable goals for students.
• Maintain accurate IEP/504 records and prepare required documentation.
• Monitor IEP implementation and provide progress reports to staff, students, and families.
• Develop compliant transition plans and collaborate with school leadership to meet graduation goals.
• Support school-wide outcomes and provide staff development and goal setting.
