Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Current North Carolina teaching license in Special Education.
• Minimum of 3 years of SPED experience.
• Strong knowledge of IDEA and Section 504 requirements.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and drive decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the SPED program.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement and inclusive SPED services.
• Align SPED programming with school-wide academic goals.
• Coordinate IEP meetings and SPED-related meetings.
• Oversee SPED program budgets and resources.
• Engage families and community partners.
• Support MTSS and instructional practices.
