Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Specimen Processing Supervisor in Chantilly, VA, Sunday to Thursday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The role oversees daily operations of the Specimen Processing department and ensures compliance with SOPs and quality standards.

Responsibilities include training personnel, supervising workflow, and implementing process improvements while maintaining a safe, productive environment.

Qualifications

• Internal candidates require a minimum of two years in a Group Leader/related role.
• Preferred 5 years experience in a laboratory or production environment.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Specimen Processing department and related activities.
• Develop and implements Standard Operating Procedures for Specimen Processing.
• Ensure safety, maintenance, and cleanliness of the department; monitor quality and training.
• Schedule department staff and ensure adequate coverage; manage time/attendance.
• Lead process improvements and cross-functional projects; coordinate with QA and Medical Director offices.
