Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Chantilly, VA is seeking a Specimen Processing Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Specimen Processing department, including Imaging/Microfilming and Test In Question functions.

You will lead staff, ensure safety and compliance, develop SOPs, manage scheduling, training, and performance reviews, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain workflow and timely results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a Group Leader/related role.
• 5 years laboratory/medical or production background preferred.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.
• Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Specimen Processing department.
• Develop and implement SOPs for Specimen Processing.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and quality within the department.
• Lead scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor workflow and inventory to support lab throughput.
