Job summary

Abbott Cancer Diagnostics is seeking a Clinical Lab Associate I, Specimen Processing to perform day-to-day operations in the Specimen Processing Department, including accessioning and processing of specimens, automation usage, sample racking, and lab maintenance. Role reports to the Specimen Processing Supervisor and supports lab safety policies.

Shift is Sat - Mon, 6a - 6:30p. Ideal candidates will have HL diploma, computer experience, and willingness to work flexible hours in a high-volume lab

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience using computers including Internet navigation, email, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
• Maintain documentation of problems and problem resolutions per GDP.
• Assist with SOP development and department inspections and audits.
