Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Lab Associate I, Specimen Processing for the weekend shift (Sat–Mon, 6p–6:30a) at the Madison, WI location. You will support accessioning, processing, automation, and routine lab tasks, ensuring GDP-compliant data reporting and adherence to safety policies.

The role requires a high school diploma and adaptability to a fast-paced lab environment, with potential for growth in Abbott Cancer Diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED, 18+ years old, basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Knowledge of CAP, GLP, GDP, CLIA, NYSDOH and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Accessioning, processing, automation usage, sample racking, lab maintenance and cleaning.
• Maintain accurate data reporting practices.
• Support Quality Management System policies and procedures and participate in training.
