Qualifications

• High school graduation or the equivalent.
• WA State Surgical Tech registration required if assisting with bone marrow collection.

Responsabilités

• Process specimens including centrifugation, aliquoting, and dispensing to testing lab.
• Support blood bank transfusion services and bone marrow aspiration procedures.
• Minimize patient wait times and maintain sample integrity.
• Communicate professionally with patients, clients, and colleagues.
• Record variances in Patient Safety Net and participate in QA/QI programs.
• Troubleshoot with other departments and participate in process improvements.
• Mentor and train new staff; assist daily workflow coordination.
