Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Lenexa, KS is seeking a Specimen Processing Group Lead for Sunday to Thursday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. You will supervise 8–12 Technicians, coordinate shifts, and assist supervisors with performance reviews and disciplinary actions.

You’ll participate in process audits and ensure ongoing staff training and compliance. The role offers growth opportunities, shift differentials, and potential annual bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Internal candidates with at least one year in SPT III/related role.
• Experience in a laboratory Specimen Processing environment preferred (3 years).
• Medical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 8-12 Specimen Technicians and coordinate shift activities.
• Assist in performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Lead process and quality audits and ensure compliance.
• Maintain supply inventories and ensure equipment reliability.
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff and ensure safety.
