Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in a laboratory environment with Specimen Processing preferred.
• Medical background preferred with terminology applicable to a clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Specimen Technicians and coordinate schedule for 8–12 staff.
• Provide input for performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Assist in training, cross-training and department auditing.
• Ensure shift paperwork is completed and production runs smoothly.
• Monitor supplies and equipment, and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Maintain safety and quality compliance across the department.
