Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a dedicated Specimen Management team member in Springdale, AR to support our lab and clients. The role emphasizes accurate specimen handling, data entry, and clear communication with customers and internal teams.

You will manage test forms, prepare and triage specimens, label and ship materials, and contribute to a collaborative, compliant work environment. Strong attention to detail and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 or more years of experience in customer service or a client facing role.
• Associates degree or higher (preferred).
• 1 year or more of medical/clinical lab experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Act a liaison between the lab, clients, and patients.
• Resolve internal & external customer requests via calls, instant messenger & email communications.
• Communicates with customers in respectful and professional manner.
• Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.
• Provide customer education and information as needed.
• Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
• Prepare and triage specimens for analysis.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens as necessary.
• Prepare and store excess specimen samples.
