Job summary

Labcorp in Rogers, AR seeks a customer support associate to act as a liaison between the lab, clients and patients. You will resolve requests via calls, chat, and email, ensuring professional and respectful communication.

Responsibilities include researching issues in databases, educating customers, reviewing test forms, and preparing specimens for analysis while maintaining accuracy and data integrity. Must meet high school education and possess 1+ year of related experience.

Qualifications

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; additional hours as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Act a liaison between the lab, clients, and patients.
• Resolve internal & external customer requests via calls, instant messenger & email communications
• Communicates with customers in a respectful and professional manner.
• Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.
• Provide customer education and information as needed.
• Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
• Prepare and triage specimens for analysis.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens as necessary.
• Prepare and store excess specimen samples.

Minimum Qualification

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 or more years of experience in customer support or client facing roles.

Preferred Qualification

• Current or prior LabCorp experience
• Associates degree or higher
• 1 year or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience

Additional Job Standards

• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
