Job summary

Labcorp in Overland Park, KS is seeking a dedicated Specimen Accessioner to join our fast-paced lab team. You will perform specimen accessioning, sorting, labeling, and data entry to support high-throughput workflows.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with 6 months of lab or specimen processing experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and pass a color blindness test may be required.

LabCorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Accessioning team in Overland KS. The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.

Work Schedule

The schedule for this position will be: Monday-Friday 09:00pm-05:30am Mandatory OT based on volume/needs of department. Mandatory Saturday or Sunday rotation every 3-5 weeks depending on staffing needs. Weekend shift is typically 4-8hours.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing

Minimum Qualification

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualification

• Current or prior Labcorp experience
• 6 months or more of experience in a lab or specimen processing
• 6 months or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience
