Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a dedicated Specimen Processing and Accessioning team member for Overland Park, KS. The role involves preparing specimens, labeling, routing, and data entry, supporting timely diagnostic workflows.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, attention to detail, and accurate data handling. Evening shift runs Monday through Friday from 11:00pm to 7:30am, with comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to their staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.

Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Overland Park, KS

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:00pm-7:30am

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens

Minimum Qualification:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualification:

• Current or prior Labcorp experience
• 6 months or more of experience in a lab or specimen processing
• 6 months or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory

• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test .
