The role focuses on developing clinical competency, coaching through development plans, and supporting department operations with leadership initiatives. Remote work is not indicated.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT, CVT, or LVT) is required.
• Minimum of 2 years in emergency, specialty, or critical care preferred.
• Leadership, mentoring, training, or lead technician experience preferred.
• Strong coaching, development, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt schedule based on training needs and department priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding programs for Specialty Services Technicians and staff.
• Develop and deliver hands‑on training for skill advancement and clinical competency.
• Mentor Veterinary Technicians through training plans and performance feedback.
• Partner with hospital leadership to identify learning opportunities and create development plans.
• Provide ongoing coaching to promote growth and confidence in the team.
• Assist with competency assessments, progress documentation, and protocol training.
• Ensure staff are trained on hospital protocols, workflows, equipment, and patient care standards.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and teamwork.
