Charlotte Street Animal Hospital in Asheville, NC, is an AAHA-accredited facility delivering high-quality veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotics.

We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. You will monitor anesthesia, perform lab work, and support compassionate patient care while mentoring teammates and educating clients. This is a full-time on-site role with opportunities for professional development and a strong network of veterinary colleagues.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and laboratory procedures.
• Calm and efficient approach in fast-paced situations.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize your full skillset as a vital part of the medical team, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
• Be a leader and mentor, guiding the medical team and maintaining efficient workflows.
• Partner with clients, educating them on treatments, reviewing medical records, and answering questions confidently.
• Contribute to a positive culture by training teammates and upholding high hospital standards.
