The company’s team of 100+ award-winning doctors provides a full range of services including general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dental services at locations across the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years of dental treatment coordinator experience required.
• Knowledge of dental insurances including PPOs, Medi-Cal, and CHIP.
• Experience with dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) is helpful.
• Must be able to travel 90-100% of the time.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Educate patients on treatment needs and options.
• Convert planned treatment to scheduled treatment across multiple specialties (Pedodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics).
• Communicate with referring offices via letters and emails regarding treatment plans and updates.
• Verify insurances including PPOs, Medi-Cal, and CHIP.
• Handle change of provider (COP) calls and faxes.
• Send pre-authorizations.
• Explain dental procedures and treatment plans clearly to patients, including fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants.
• Process payments via cash, credit, and CareCredit.
• Audit chart notes and create claims.
• Run end-of-day reports.
• Assist with office opening and closing procedures.
• Participate in daily housekeeping (shared responsibility).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged sitting and standing as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.

Compensation Range: $23.50 - $27.00 per hour.
