Job summary

Target in Tempe is seeking a Specialty Sales Team Leader to guide a team in delivering exceptional guest service, merchandising and daily store operations. You will lead a team of hourly associates, coach staff, and ensure adherence to guest experience standards across departments.

The role emphasizes training, accountability, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment, with opportunities to develop leadership and operational excellence while managing dynamic schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Lead and hold others accountable.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure every team member is trained and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments.
• Observe and provide feedback, hold team members accountable and recognize great guest moments.
• Review area metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvements in guest experience.
• Lead a team of hourly team members and develop coaching, interviewing and performance skills.
