Specialty Sales Representative - Green Bay, WI

Location: WI - Green Bay, US

Contract Type: Regular Full-Time

Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Specialty Sales Representative (SSR) is to represent the Grifols plasma portfolio with identified regional/local health systems, accounts, and customers related to disease awareness, product discussions, formulary coverage, pricing (where appropriate), and collaborating with key opinion leaders. The position requires strong sales and clinical expertise, business acumen, and stakeholder relationships.

The Immunology/Neurology/Acute SSR will focus on sales performance and engagement with prescribers, office decision-makers, and account targets. The SSR will implement a multi-channel strategy and is responsible for the Grifols I/N/A portfolio across all accounts in their assigned geography. Current calls include, but are not limited to: neurologists, immunologists, allergists, specialty pharmacy companies, infusion centers, and hospital accounts like pharmacy DOP and emergency rooms. As the sales lead for the territory, the SSR will work cross-functionally to support demand for the portfolio and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders. The SSR will adopt an omnichannel approach using digital resources for customer engagement and technology for call planning, field communications, reporting, data analysis, and insights.

Territory includes: Green Bay, WI, Appleton, WI, La Crosse, WI, Rochester, MN, and Sault Sainte Marie, MI.

  • Regular use of analytical data for insights and business planning
  • Proficiency with tools like Excel, Word, Salesforce, Concur, Power BI
  • Innovative and automated solution development

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate clinical expertise and in-depth knowledge of the plasma portfolio and disease states in neurology and immunology.
  • Engage with a broad range of audiences, including healthcare providers, academic centers, and specialty pharmacies.
  • Communicate clinical messages effectively, tailored to each influencer.
  • Utilize account-based selling skills and build relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Educate customers on the INA product portfolio and develop relationships with medical liaison teams.
  • Understand market fluctuations, plasma economics, and customer needs to develop strategic account plans.
  • Navigate and leverage Salesforce and other systems for territory management.
  • Establish credibility and trust with customers, becoming a valued strategic partner.
  • Coordinate with internal teams like Marketing, Managed Markets, and Medical Affairs to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and company policies.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; healthcare, life sciences, or business/marketing preferred.
  • At least 4 years of pharmaceutical or biological sales experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and technological skills.
  • Ability to travel overnight and work evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Proficiency in hospital and specialty pharmacy sales environments.

Additional notes: Daily activities include operating a company vehicle, long periods of sitting, light lifting, and effective communication. Adaptability and complex problem-solving skills are essential.
