Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a dynamic, customer service-oriented in-store sales representative. This role involves handling customer inquiries, selling products to walk-in and preferred customers, with a focus on welding equipment, supplies, gases, and rentals.

• Pay range: $21.02 - $30.00 hourly (dependent on experience)

What you will be doing:

• Providing customer support via phone orders, inquiries, order tracking, and issue resolution
• Recommending products and promoting sales of hard goods and gases to meet margin targets
• Conducting product demonstrations using customer insights to develop new offerings
• Supporting the Outside Sales team
• Maintaining accurate customer records and files
• Performing warehouse duties and cylinder movements as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Customer Service or Counter Sales experience required; industrial setting preferred
• Knowledge of welding equipment and supplies preferred
• No DUI/DWI or other alcohol-related convictions in the last ten years
• Effective communication and active listening skills
