Job summary

Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist with versatility across Cardiac Diagnostics, CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, or Interventional Radiology. You will perform imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and manage imaging data within PACS and the hospital's EHR system.

The role requires graduation from a Radiologic Technology Program and at least one year of clinical radiology experience, with a willingness to obtain or maintain

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Radiologic Technology Program.
• Minimum of one year clinical experience in radiologic technology with emphasis on a specialty modality.
• Bachelor of Science degree with a CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, or Interventional Radiology major preferred.
• Indiana licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Technologist and/or ARDMS registration.
• ARRT, ARDMS, CCI, NMTCB or ARMRIT registered within 6 months of hire including CEU requirements.
• Breast Ultrasound certification for Mammography position, if applicable.
• Maintains and shows proof of current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Advise and perform standard radiology procedures per physician orders.
• Select exposure factors and settings for each exam.
• Position patients and ensure safety with shielding and immobilization.
• Manage PACS image transfers and archiving.
• Operate injectors and manage contrast media administration.
• Adapt care for patient age groups and document findings in the EHR.
• Support Radiologists and department leadership as needed.
