Job summary

Nutex Health, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist (PRN) to operate CT, X-ray, MRI, or ultrasound equipment, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Ideal candidates have ARRT or RDMS certification, an associate degree in radiologic technology, BLS, and at least one year in a hospital setting, with strong communication and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• ARRT or RDMS certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately position patients to ensure effective scanning of specific body areas.
• Conduct regular warm-up sequences on radiologic equipment to maintain functionality.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment thoroughly to ensure patient safety and adhere to hygiene and infection control protocols.
• Interpret and follow physicians' written scanning instructions accurately.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal structures during imaging.
• Review and evaluate scans to confirm they meet technical quality standards.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients, offering reassurance and support as needed.
• Monitor patients during scanning, identifying and responding to any allergic reactions to contrast agents.
• Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and report deficiencies.
