Job summary

St. David's South Austin Medical Center is seeking a PRN Multi Modality Technologist to perform radiologic procedures with newborn to adult patients.

You will cross-train across modalities, maintain image quality, and uphold JCAHO standards while delivering compassionate patient care independent of supervision. Required ARRT certification with CE, BLS, and AMA-approved radiologic tech education; CT within six months and ARRT VI/CV/MRI within one year.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification current with CE compliance.
• CT certification within 6 months of cross-training start date.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
• Graduate of AMA-approved school of radiologic technology.
• Two years of diagnostic experience in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures across modalities with patient age range from newborn to late adulthood.
• Maintains and promotes quality patient care and adheres to JCAHO regulations and standards.
• Communicates effectively and works independently during procedures and patient interactions.

Education

ARRT certification (R) with CE compliance

ARRT certifications VI / CV / MRI within 1 year

ARRT CT certification within 6 months

BLS for Healthcare Provider

AMA-approved radiologic technology program graduate

Two years diagnostic experience in acute care
