The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Specialty Product Manager for its Commercial Lines Product Management team, offering a hybrid or fully remote role anywhere in the United States. The role focuses on Management Liability, including D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Cyber, Crime, and Kidnap & Ransom, with collaboration across underwriting, claims, legal, and compliance.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of Management Liability coverages, forms drafting, and regulatory compliance, and can translate

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Specialty insurance experience with working knowledge in product.
• Understanding of policy wording, forms drafting, coverages, and regulatory environment.
• Advanced leadership, innovation, organization, and time management.
• Excellent oral and technical writing communication; attention to detail.
• Advanced ability to communicate product and underwriting strategies and relationships with coverage.
• Strong ability to influence strategic decisions that support corporate goals.
• Superior interpersonal skills aligning with CARE values.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of Management Liability coverage forms for admitted and non-admitted use.
• Monitor regulatory and judicial environments to remain compliant in writing states.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis for the assigned product line.
• Collaborate with Specialty Underwriting to establish strategies and goals.
• Develop filing strategies and respond to State Department of Insurance objections.
• Mentor Product Analysts.
