Job summary

Banner Health is expanding its Specialty Pharmacy team in Scottsdale, AZ. This Pharmacy Technician role supports preparation, dispensing, and non-clinical specialty assessments for patients receiving prescription services.

You will assist the specialty pharmacist with claims processing, inventory management, and reporting to maintain URAC accreditation and access to limited distribution drugs. Monday–Friday 8AM–5PM with a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Ability to attend and complete 160 hours of on the job training.
• Strong customer service focus and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the specialty pharmacist with preparation, compounding and dispensing of medications.
• Process orders and manage inventory for Specialty Pharmacy.
• Provide adherence management and communication with patients via call center.
• Support accreditation, licensure, and payer contract reporting requirements.
