Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mass Registered Pharmacy Tech license required.
• 3–5 years related work experience.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based apps and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Answers and screens a high volume of calls professionally.
• Uses scripts to triage calls and determine appointment type and urgency.
• Schedules prescription refills using pharmacy software.
• Verifies demographics and updates records as needed.
• Obtains referrals and documents payer information.
• Transfers messages to pharmacists, providers and staff as appropriate.
• Triages urgent requests to the proper staff and responds to email inquiries.
