Qualifications

• Licensed and registered pharmacy technician in the state of practice (AZ wallet card at hire).
• Minimum 3 years healthcare/insurance/third party reimbursement experience, including 1 year as a technician.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, network, payer applications; ability to anticipate and meet customer needs promptly.
• Ability to prioritize organizational requirements and track multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders to remove medication access barriers.
• Provide timely medication benefit counseling to patients and hospital staff.
• Accurate and timely execution of pharmacy projects as required.
• Follow policies, procedures and regulatory requirements and perform other work assignments.
