Overview

Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Production Pharmacist coordinates and controls production activities. Implements production plan/targets according to cGMP. Supervises employees engaged in the manufacturing process and dispenses batches according to BMRs.

Shift

• Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Rotating weekends: Schedule could include either Saturday or Sunday on an ongoing basis.

Job Duties

OPERATIONS

• Coordinates in planning and organizing the manufacturing process of the company.
• Checks the availability of adequate raw and packing materials, utilities, filters, and machine parts.
• Fulfills the monthly and weekly production plans according to the schedule with the coordination of the Production Manager.
• Ensures all production equipment is maintained in good working order.
• Prepares daily reports.

COMPLIANCE

• Implements operational manuals, production plans, and programs.
• Monitors manufacturing activities in compliance with cGMP requirements.
• Ensures conformance of manufacturing processes with organizational objectives and policies in coordination with the Production Manager.

TRAINING

• Oversees the training of production personnel.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pharmacist
• Experience with non-sterile or sterile compounding
