Job Description

The Apothecary has an opening for a Retail Pharmacist – Per Diem. The individual will ensure optimal drug therapy for patients, oversee medication distribution, and manage pharmacy operations.

• Graduate from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
• Current PA Licensure.
• Retail pharmacy experience.
• MTM/CMR experience.
• Current PA Licensed vaccinator.

This position is at the Henry K Mohler Apothecary at TJUH, with coverage at other outpatient locations as needed, including Methodist Hospital, Navy Yard, 1101 Market St., and Project Home. The primary shift is 9:30 am – 6 pm on weekdays, 9 am – 4 pm on Saturdays, with schedule variations based on location needs.

The candidate should possess strong communication and clinical skills, including telehealth counseling, and be capable of directing technician staff, utilizing point-of-sale technology, managing inventory, and implementing cost containment strategies.
