Are you a PA-licensed Pharmacist looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment? This is your chance to take on a 13-week contract as a Fulfillment Staff Pharmacist with a specialty compounding pharmacy, with potential for permanent hire. Join a team dedicated to providing personalized pharmaceutical care through bespoke preparations tailored to each patient s unique needs.
In this role, you ll oversee fulfillment operations, ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, and provide vital patient care and counseling. This position offers the chance to make a direct impact on patients lives while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:00am 2:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise fulfillment personnel and oversee operations during your shift
Assist in the shipping and handling of prescription orders, ensuring compliance with patient and prescriber requirements
Maintain accurate preparation and documentation, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws
Develop and manage patient care plans to monitor therapeutic outcomes
Review patient medication histories and profiles, providing counseling on both prescription and over-the-counter medications
Evaluate drug therapy for appropriateness of use, therapeutic duplication, and potential drug interactions
Provide patient education and counsel on OTC medications, prescription therapies, and nutritional supplements
Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required
Recent retail pharmacy experience required
Non-sterile or sterile compounding experience is a plus
Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent patient care
New graduates are welcome if all other qualifications are met
