Job summary

Atrium Health Greater Charlotte is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Nursing team. You will coordinate clinical care for patients in the Rare/Complex Clinic, participate in research activities, and support education within the program.

Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, and BLS certification, with oncology experience preferred. This full-time position offers a 40-hour work week, weekday schedule, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience preferred.
• Current certification in BLS required; PALS to be obtained after hire.
• Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the clinical care of patients being evaluated for and/or participating in the clinical program, including research activities and education.
• Coordinates clinical care throughout the program utilizing pathways and tools to ensure high quality, cost-effective continuity of care.
• Collaborates with other clinical team members to support psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
