Job summary

Atrium Health Greater Charlotte is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor to oversee three sections of supportive oncology in a multidisciplinary team. The role includes leading nursing practice, coordinating care across senior oncology, integrative oncology, and survivorship, and guiding a team of nurses, CNAs, and APPs.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN, an active nursing license, BLS, and have at least 1 year of experience with preference for prior oncology and management experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• BSN required; or RN candidates without BSN must enroll in a BSN program within 1 year and complete within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Previous Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the manager using systematic approaches to enhance nursing practice, nursing service administration and care delivery in the department.
• Engages teammates and provides leadership to serve as an effective change agent, maintain a healthy work environment, and promote innovation in care delivery.
• Coaches and counsels teammates; may assist with discipline, up to written warnings.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel in the department.
