Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute – Supportive Oncology is seeking a registered nurse to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in an outpatient oncology setting. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 40-hour workweek and a focus on patient-centered symptom management and coordinated care.

Minimum qualifications include an RN license with 1 year of clinical nursing experience; BSN preferred and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
• BSN preferred
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN operates
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing
• BLS
• Oncology experience preferred

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.
