Mercy is seeking a Nurse Supervisor RN Specialty to lead a team of specialty nurses delivering high-quality, compassionate care. You will coordinate daily unit operations, oversee patient flow, and ensure adherence to clinical standards and regulatory requirements.

You will mentor and coach nursing staff, manage scheduling, support performance improvement initiatives, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to foster Mercy's culture of respect, diversity, and professional

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Missouri or compact state).
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification or ability to obtain within probation period.
• Specialty nursing certification preferred (e.g., CCRN, CNOR).
• Previous charge nurse or leadership experience in a specialty unit.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise specialty nursing staff during daily operations.
• Coordinate patient flow and staffing to ensure safe, efficient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
• Mentor, coach, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans.
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Manage scheduling and resource allocation for the unit.
• Promote evidence-based practice within the specialty area.
