Job summary

Mercy is seeking a skilled RN to support operations and patient care in designated areas. The role includes acting as a clinical resource for staff and patients, and stepping in as a staff nurse when needed.

Additionally, the incumbent will assume managerial duties delegated by a manager and perform duties aligned with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the state of practice.
• Two or three years' experience required in patient care.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Preferred Experience: Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
• Preferred Certifications: CRRN
• Preferred Other: Rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
